As Qbase develops solutions unique to our value proposition, the Senior Information Technology Specialist will provide practical analysis and applications to unique government customer business opportunities. As a key Qbase team member, the Senior Information Technology Specialist will participate in a variety of customer interactions, apply knowledge of computer science principles and ADP functions to solve automation problems.
Responsibilities:
Interpret raw analytics into understandable and actionable findings for Qbase clients
Identify and use standard, unconventional and original mathematical, algorithmic, and programmatical approaches to define, plan, design, develop, modify, test and integrate databases.
Formulate architectural design, specifications, interfaces and documentation.
Use data mining and analysis techniques, including segmentation, clustering, scoring, and modeling
Research valid/invalid values in Air Force and Department of Defense references
Provide customer support with data transformation and data cleansing utilizing the Qbase Data Discovery and Qbase Data Transformer products
Knowledge and skills:
Ability to interpret and convey the value of Qbase analytic services and products
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership capabilities
Strong background in data manipulation, transformation and data analysis
Excellent customer relationship skills
Education and work experience:
Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, statistics or engineering.
6 years applicable experience
3 years experience in a lead role
Experience with MS-SQL or other relational databases
Experience with MS Office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access
