Responsibilities: The Completions Supervisor will be responsible and accountable for well completions and production operations for the Appalachia Asset Team. The position will include supervision of completions consultants and/or other contract operating personnel. The position will work with department team leads to manage a 1-5 rig completions program that supports the E&P business plan. Position will be responsible for reviewing and maximizing production, minimizing capital and LOE, and ensuring that EHS metrics are met.
Specific Responsibilities Include: (1) Establish and implement short and long-term well completion strategies. (2) Formulate, coordinate, and implement completion designs, including but not limited to, site preparation, perforating and fracturing schemes, flowback, and production equipment. (3) Implement and monitor the completion schedule on a daily basis. Work with geology, permitting, gas management, and engineering staffs to ensure the most effective schedule possible. (4) Monitor and optimize well completion operations on a regular basis. (5) Monitor and optimize costs on a regular basis. (6) Assist in the preparation and presentation of AFEs, budgets, and forecasts. (7) Establish water sourcing and disposal strategies to effectively support the completion and production operations. (8) Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all completion activities, including entry into WellEZ or OpenWells. (9) Supervise contract completion and production representatives on a daily basis to ensure safe and efficient operations. This includes travel to the well sites. (10) Work to continuously improve asset operations, including new technologies, cost-cutting measures, water infrastructure projects, and miscellaneous field infrastructure. This includes continuous post-appraisal of costs and performance. (11) Provide operations assistance to Regulatory, Accounting, Geology, Engineering, E&PWAY, and Field Administration functions. (12) Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to handle multiple tasks with changing and conflicting responsibilities and accountabilities. Must be self-motivated and an enthusiastic team player capable of completing tasks in a group environment.
Qualifications: 8-10 years in completions operations leadership/supervisory role; experience in the Appalachia region is preferred Experience and certified in well control Demonstrated abilities: proficiency in completion and production operations, building effective teams, drive for results, successfully plan and negotiate, develop strong peer relationships, effective delegation skills, strong ethics
Education Level: High School Graduate or Equivalent
Relocation Information: Williams Corporation will not pay relocation costs for this position.
Travel Percentage: 26 - 50 %
