Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for leading large projects for establishing or improving Midstream business processes, providing process improvement expertise on mid-size projects, and coaching others on smaller improvement projects. Role will use and help to maintain and support the Process Project Life Cycle (PLC) methodology, and improve the methodology thereof. Individual will interact with multiple departments/resources, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and outside consultants/vendors. 

Accountabilities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

-Working with project teams and stakeholders to measure current performance and identify improvement opportunities that positively impact Midstreams strategy. 
-Providing insight and expertise on effective business processes to project teams and stakeholders.
-Validating value of given process improvement opportunities and recommending options for realizing benefits of potential opportunities
-Performing cost estimating, scoping, and scheduling for process improvement projects.
-Assembling and leading project teams with internal and external resources.
-Helping to develop and following the Process Project Life Cycle.
-Identifying risks to project cost and executing and insuring stakeholders are informed and aware of these risksMitigating risks - with project team approval - when possible.
-Working with the CI group to continuously improve project approach, standards and guidelines.


Key Activities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

-Leading and directing process improvement project teams both internal and external - and coordinating key functions with internal and external resources under the guidance of the Process Project Life Cycle.
-Determining the preferred scope of the effort based on solid business and process assessments/analysis, including clear financial/performance improvement justifications.
-Designing improvement solutions, validating improvements, and implementing final solutions to positively impact the business and the way in which we do work in a sustained fashion.
-Showing a consistent ability to meet set deadlines.
-Designing Process Control Plan for process monitoring including key metrics.


Qualifications:
Considerations:

-Undergraduate degree required; Masters level a plus
-Strong project management skills - including  scoping, planning, communication, on going management and risk management - with an ability to organize and execute in a situation where team members are outside of the formal span of control.
-Understanding of business process and process redesign concepts.  Experience with process improvement initiatives strongly desired.
-Industry experience is a plus - gathering and processing operations, oil and gas, chemical or continuous process industries.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of the MS organization.
-Team player who has the ability to build relationships at various levels across the MS organization.
-Strong presentation skills; ability to summarize, present and discuss strategies and options in order to come up with the best alternative for the business.

This position will be filled at the posted level and within the salary range if commensurate to the experience (i.e., skills, abilities & knowledge) of successful candidate; however if unable to be filled at this level, the position may be filled with a respective competitive market based on the experience of the selected candidate


Education Level: Bachelor's Level Degree

Relocation Information: Williams Corporation will pay relocation costs for this position.

Travel Percentage: 26 - 50 %

Fair Labor Standards Act: FLSA exempt no overtime pay is due.
