Responsibilities: This position develops and updates facility piping, mechanical, electrical, instrument, civil and structural data and drawings for Gas Plants and Compressor Stations in support of construction, operation and maintenance to comply with Williams System Integrity Program (SIP), governmental regulations such as OSHAs Process Safety Management (PSM) and industry standards. This position is responsible for updating and maintaining Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs), Facility Plot Plans, Electrical Hazardous Area Classification Plans, Electrical One Line diagrams, Control Loop Drawings, Emergency Operating Procedure drawings, Cause and Effect Matrices and other drawings that may be required.
-Archives and manages files of Non-Critical and other Project drawings and As-builts such as Piping Plans and Elevations, Piping Isometrics, Mechanical, Civil, and Structural drawings, Electrical Schematics, Wiring diagrams and Instrument drawings. -Maintains the Facility Data Management program for assigned area of responsibility by actively pursuing facility redlines and markups and coordinating the updating of drawings and documentation within 30 days of receipt of redlines or as-built drawings -Assists Area Operation Supervisors in maintaining accurate facility drawings and documentation onsite as required by Williams Facility Data Management Program by issuing appropriate drawings and data and tracking receipt of documentation through use of the Redline Logbook. -Assists Project Managers and Engineers with new projects by providing technical design support, drafting support or coordination of design and drafting with outside contractors by issuing and implementing Williams Contractors Drafting Package -Assists in the archiving of Project documentation through Williams Data Management and Retention processes. -Organizes, maintains and helps create engineering standards so that standards are accessible.
Qualifications: -Minimum of 8 years experience in the energy industry is preferred -Thorough design and drafting knowledge and ability in one of the following areas; Piping, Electrical or Instrumentation Design and a working knowledge in the remaining two disciplines -Associate of Applied Science degree in Design and Drafting Technology or equivalent experience -Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in team environments -Knowledge of OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) 29 CFR-1910.119 standard -Knowledge and ability in walk down, layout and drafting of Plant and Facility P&IDs, Plot Plans, Electrical Area Classification and Electrical One Lines -Knowledge and ability in developing ESD schematics integrated into P&IDs and development of Cause and Effects Matrix -Thorough knowledge and ability in the use of AutoCAD 2005 software -Knowledge and ability in the use of specialized CAD software such as CADWork, Raster, Piping Isos -Knowledge and ability in the use of Microsoft Office applications -Developing and maintaining AutoCAD applications in Visual Basic and LISP routines considered a plus
