Responsibilities: The primary purpose of the position is to manage the $50 $60 million spent on IT infrastructure annually and to ensure effective / efficient IT infrastructure services are delivered that meet Williams business needs. The position has responsibility for directing the full lifecycle of IT systems infrastructure, including all decisions relating to hardware, software, middleware, system administration, operations, facilities management, backup/restore, disaster recovery, project monitoring, project execution, contract negotiation for outsourced services, technology strategy, architecture design and standards, databases, data storage, data and voice networks, network availability, change management, business continuity planning, modernization, satellite and microwave communications, service desk and Tier 2 support. The Director position is also responsible for interfacing with the Williams Sourcing Management Office for all outsource vendor related issues and directly oversees the combined Williams retained / IBM day-to-day IT service delivery for IT infrastructure services. Resolution and negotiation of service delivery, pricing, operational issues, is a key responsibility.
Qualifications: Solid understanding of the relevant technical areas in order to effectively assess situations and align effective resources for service delivery and problem resolution. Three (3) to five (5) years managing a large outsourcing relationship Ten (10) years management experience MBA or equivalent preferred.
Education Level: Master's Level Degree

Travel Percentage: Less than 25 %
