Responsibilities: Daily oversight of drilling activities related to drilling, well construction, scheduling, cost control, and optimization of a multi-rig program. These duties would include; Ensuring the drilling contractors and wellsite drilling consultants, subcontractors, service providers, suppliers and regulatory personnel are following safe and environmentally sound practices. Providing daily planning and direction to the Drilling Field Supervisors, Well site Drilling Consultants and Drilling Contractor personnel. Performing support activities as directed by the District Drilling Manager, to include daily drilling summary, cost control tracking spreadsheets, and OpenWells related reporting.
Work to continuously improve asset operations, including new technologies, bid evaluations, cost-cutting measures, and infrastructure projects. This includes continuous post-appraisal of costs and performance.
Performs procurement, delivery, materials control, and coordination of all drilling related services and equipment necessary to perform tasks in support of the drilling activity. Reviews, verifies and approves all required invoices in a timely and efficient manner. Ensures all drilling related activities are correctly reported and documented including; invoices, field tickets, field documents, material transfers, etc. Responsible for capital cost control, actual versus budget, wells drilled, actual versus plan, and other metrics as required to meet team goals.
Assists with long term planning and budgeting as required. Provide operations assistance to Regulatory, Accounting, Geology, Engineering Technicians, and Field Administration. Performs all duties as assigned, always representing Williams Production RMT Company in a professional manner.
Qualifications: Successful candidate must have a minimum 10 years field drilling and supervision experience, preferably in the Rocky Mountain states. Candidate must have a demonstrated safety record in the drilling industry in a supervisory position as a company representative or contract supervisor. Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle multiple tasks with changing and conflicting responsibilities and accountabilities. Candidate must be self-motivated and an enthusiastic team player capable of completing tasks in a group environment. Candidate must provided references with current contact information to verify employment and safety record. Candidate must provide documentation of current BOP certification. Candidate must have demonstrated skills with drilling software, preferably OpenWells, and basic proficiency with Microsoft Office software. Candidate must have a valid drivers license

Relocation Information: Williams Corporation will not pay relocation costs for this position.
Travel Percentage: 26 - 50 %
