Responsibilities: Reservoir engineer required for the Powder River Basin Coal bed Methane Area. Duties include: working with a multidiscipline team to support the execution of the drilling program with screening economics and reservoir engineering, monitor and evaluate non-operated activity, maintain reserves databases with the most recent coring and other new data, complete semiannual reserve evaluations for proved and probable reserves, assist in technical evaluations of trades and acquisitions, complete annual capital budget plan including gas production forecasting, evaluate compensatory royalty claims, request compression installations in a timely manner, and identify production optimization opportunities.
Qualifications: This individual must be a team player and have demonstrated strong interpersonal and writing skills. Previous experience with coal bed methane reservoirs and Aries economic evaluation software is desirable. Bachelors degree in engineering required. Five years minimum petroleum engineering experience is preferred, one year is required.
