Responsibilities:
This position will work for the E&C Onshore group and assist the Williams' Midstream Business Development group in reviewing potential mergers, acquisitions, and step-out opportunities to grow the Midstream business.  The position will help develop optimum designs for gas gathering pipeline alternatives, field processing, plant processing, and work with existing Williams' SMEs to ensure the designs meet Williams' specifications, guidelines, and reliability expectations.  This position will work with both Williams' employees and outside contractors to develop projects in accordance with SIP and Project Life cycle principles.

Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
-Lead and direct projects and coordinate key functions with internal and external technical resources under the guidance of Project Life Cycle procedures and directives
-Develop and/or oversee the development of preliminary engineering work necessary to properly define the scope of supply for projects pursued and/or developed in concert with the Business Development group
-Develop and maintain relations with operations personnel to enable accurate and proper development of operating expenses to be included in economic models developed for each project
-Determine the preferred scope option for implementation and set-up the core project team to move the project forward
-Develop and implement project charters that can easily be turned into project plans, containing cost estimates, and potential contract strategies
-Develop optimum pipeline and facility solutions that maximize the Economic Value Added ("EVA") criteria over the life of the project
-Understand the economic drivers of the transaction being developed and incorporate them into pipeline and facility options
-Present recommendations supported by sound engineering and operational efficiency and effectiveness that support Midstream reliability targets and reduce risks inherent in the project
-Must show a consistent ability to meet set deadlines and be flexible to adapt to the changing demands of the position.


Qualifications:
Considerations:

-Engineering Degree with at least 15-years of project experience and appropriate technical and operations experience
-Broad experience in project management, project development, and gathering and processing operations
-Successful experience planning and designing (at a high level) large onshore gathering and processing facilities, determining what kind of gas processing and treating to use, model the processes, and (as necessary) developing contracting strategies to assist in moving the projects forward
-Experience conceptualizing viable technical solutions, developing capital projections and operating cost, and driving implementation of the project through final construction and transition into a business unit for facility operation.

Experience in hydraulic modeling of complex pipeline systems and general knowledge of gas processing design is a plus.

Domestic travel will be required

Education Level: Bachelor's Level Degree

Relocation Information: Williams Corporation will pay relocation costs for this position.

Travel Percentage: Less than 25 %

Fair Labor Standards Act: FLSA exempt no overtime pay is due.
