Responsibilities: The primary focus for the position is to support the drilling team with data gathering, manipulation, and analysis to help track and improve horizontal drilling performance. The candidate should have a good overall knowledge of drilling operations (horizontal knowledge a plus), skilled in a variety of software applications, and the ability to do the following:
Help support the drilling engineering team with accurate, timely studies and data analyses Effectively gather, query, organize and summarize data Assist with presentation preparation and maintenance Create and maintain well bore diagrams Track, compile, and analyze cost data Help generate and maintain drilling AFEs Compile and help evaluate offset well data/information Interact closely with drilling engineers, and work with completion engineers, geology, and permitting teams as needed Closely monitor Well Ez daily reports and maximize reporting capabilities
Qualifications: The preferred candidate must have a bachelor's degree, preferably petroleum engineering, have 3+ years technical experience, and be proficient with the following software: Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook for basic job duties. Also, some familiarity with WellTrax, WellEz, and Access or Spotfire for data tracking and manipulation would be preferred. The candidate should have strong organizational, mathematical and communication skills, work well in a team environment (and with other departments), have a strong work ethic, and be flexible to change.

Relocation Information: Williams Corporation will not pay relocation costs for this position.
