Responsibilities: This position provides measurement expertise to support both on-going Operations and new installations in and around the local operating assets. This position will drive the application of effective measurement related policies, procedures, and practices; insure that all industry compliance requirements are met or exceeded; and that the integrity of our measurement processes are maintained.
Key Accountabilities: - Provide local training/reinforcement of basic measurement equipment operations, maintenance, and 3rd party witnessing to facilitate the institutionalization of best practices within the workforce.
- Perform QA/QC activities including spot-checks of third party labs & chromatographs (if any), Regularly witness measurement activities on site, Validate new 3rd party installations are in accordance w/Industry accepted Standards & Specs and the contract provisions, and Inspect new Williams installations (meters, auxiliary Equipment, EFM equipment) for adherence to Williams Standards & Specifications and Contracts.
- Review any internal & 3rd party inspection/calibration reports monthly, trend information and generate rolling 12 month report to insure meter integrity and accuracy. Initiate corrective action immediately. Log recurring issues.
- Review monthly reports from internal & 3rd party measurement services for malfunctions in metering/sampling equipment in order to identify anomalies or recurring issues which negatively impact measurement accuracy and work with local operations, commercial or any other parties as necessary to gain resolution.
- Inspect new equipment (meters, auxiliary Equipment, EFM equipment) for adherence to Williams Standards & Specifications and Contracts.
Qualifications: - Experience with gas and liquid product measurement, handling and quality including volumetric and mass measurement.
- This position must have knowledge and experience in theory, operation and troubleshooting the components that make up a volumetric and mass measurement metering systems and understand what designs meets industry standards.
- This position must be able to track the measurement data processes from the beginning to the end (meter through accounting).
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with orifice turbine, coriolis, ultrasonic and positive displacement meters including tank measurement, proving systems and flow computers.
- Solid understanding of all components of measurement equipment (meters, transmitters, flow computers, communication devices) and how they are specified, fabricated, certified, installed, operated, and maintained.
- Understanding of Gas Gathering & Processing systems.

Education Level: Two Year College Degree
Relocation Information: Williams Corporation will pay relocation costs for this position.
Travel Percentage: Less than 25 %
