Responsibilities: 1.Support Appalachia Asset Team in meeting production, capital, LOE, FOE, and EH&S targets for each plan year through gathering system construction, operation, and maintenance. 2.Comply with all laws, regulations and company policies, including FERC Standards of Conduct and Compliance Plans; complete all required compliance training (i.e., Ethics, EH&S) by the established deadlines. 3.Support the E&PWAY effort in area of responsibility. Participate in training, look for opportunities for improvement, and provide support to the Asset Team. 4.Facility Operations a.Monitor, operate, and maintain pipelines, compressor stations, and treating facilities. b.Assist in monitoring gathering system operating expense / profitability. c.Follow operating procedures and process for each system to be operated. d.Purge and leak test gathering systems (pipelines, compressor stations, and/or treating facilities) according to plans provided by Engineering. e.Estimate gas lost during, compressor start/stops, blow downs, and purge process. f.Coordinate meter calibrations and telemetry start up with measurement group and third party providers/pipelines. g.Coordinate instrumentation calibration. Ability to tune and calibrate instruments is desirable. Maintain instrument supply systems. h.Respond to One Call request to locate company owned pipelines and document response. i.Coordinate compression operations and maintenance with compression service providers. j.Operate and maintain all dehydration and liquid removal equipment. Coordinate with dehydration maintenance contractors for major maintenance projects. k.Operate and maintain all treating equipment. Coordinate with treating operating and maintenance contractors related to treating systems. (If treating systems are installed) l.Operate and maintain cathodic protection system. Document readings as required. Coordinate with contractors related to the major maintenance or surveys of cathodic protection systems. m.Operate and maintain corrosion monitoring/chemical treatment programs for pipelines, compressor stations, and treating facilities. n.Complete DOT required inspection and maintenance. Maintain records of inspections and maintenance. o.Coordinate with measurement department on measurement issue. Monitor gas balances to keep imbalance under plus or minus 2%. p.Insure fuel consumption is minimized (watch for recycled or lost gas) q.Target at least 98% availability on all compression and dehydration equipment. r.Perform routine pigging programs to: i.Insure efficient operation by preventing liquid or other build up in pipelines ii.To prevent corrosion and apply corrosion inhibitor where required s.Emergency response for pipeline, compressor, dehydration, treating, or production emergencies. i.Accident / Spill / Release emergency response coordination ii.Participate in all training to insure readiness for emergency response (training, meetings, drills, equipment, etc.) t.Monitor pipeline ROWs for encroachments, nearby building activities, etc. Coordinate ROW maintenance activities. u.Perform periodic valve maintenance and lubrication.
Qualifications: 5 years or greater experience in operations and maintenance of natural gas pipelines, compressor stations, and treating facilities. Experience in production operations and maintenance of natural gas wells is desirable. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills Industry-typical software skills: MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook HS Diploma required. Associates degree preferred. Qualified Operator under DOT regulations or able to become an Operator Qualified (pass random drug screening and operator qualification testing)

Relocation Information: Williams Corporation will not pay relocation costs for this position.
