Responsibilities:
The Knowledge Management Lead is focused on Knowledge Management efforts throughout the Midstream organization.  Working with the KM Manager to lead the process efforts to make information accessible, share best practices and/or generate new knowledge for competitive advantage while leveraging technology to enable the achievement of the business strategies.

The Knowledge Management Lead will be accountable for but not necessarily limited to the following results/decisions:

-Leading project teams and engaging stakeholders in KM initiatives.
-Identification, development and design of policies or process governance (shared).
-Identification and delivery of Knowledge Management solutions (primary).
-Facilitation of Communities of Practice (shared).
-Development of implementation plans for content and records management process improvements. (primary).
-Development of business intelligence solutions (secondary).

Key Responsibilities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following activities:

-Identify stakeholders and creatively look for opportunities to engage them in knowledge management strategies. 
-Lead alignment of teams within functional area to drive toward and deliver KM solutions.
-Plan and manage short and long term KM projects that drive Midstream towards its KM vision and strategy.
-Ongoing identification of continuous KM opportunities based on results of measurement process and BU goals.
-Present/share KM techniques, learnings and strategies throughout the Midstream organization.


Qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree required, Master's preferred.
-5+ years direct experience with knowledge management desired.
-Strong Project management skills including project planning, scheduling and accountability.
-Proven leadership skills and the ability to influence outside of formal span of control.

This position will be filled at the posted level and within the salary range if commensurate to the experience (i.e., skills, abilities & knowledge) of successful candidate; however if unable to be filled at this level, the position may be filled with a respective competitive market based on the experience of the selected candidate


Education Level: Bachelor's Level Degree

Relocation Information: Williams Corporation will pay relocation costs for this position.

Travel Percentage: 26 - 50 %

Fair Labor Standards Act: FLSA exempt no overtime pay is due.
