Responsibilities: The Land Representative Sr. is responsible for the protection, acquisition and negotiation of land and property rights for pipeline and facilities construction and the operation and maintenance of existing pipeline and facilities for Williams MS. This position will also be utilized for research and preparation of land related contracts, the organization and maintenance of existing contracts and support of other departmental functions as assigned.
Key responsibilities include:
-Enforcement, Protection and Enhancement of Company Property Rights -Acquisitions and Renewals of Existing Agreements -Due Diligence Research -Asset Management, Assignment, Divestiture, and Acquisition -Third Party Damage Settlements -Preparation and execution of agreements -Appraisal of Value of Property Rights -Track and Monitor Project Cost -Research and Explain Easement and Property Rights -Manage Relocation Projects -Manage Encroachment Projects
This position will be filled at the posted level and within the salary range if commensurate to the experience (i.e., skills, knowledge, & abilities) of successful candidate; however if unable to be filled at this level, the position may be filled with a respective competitive market based on the experience of the selected candidate.
Qualifications: Considerations:
-Bachelor Degree with a major in related fields such as land management, geography, business law or public administration etc. -6-8 years minimum of industry experience in right-of-way or land functions, including direct acquisition and damage settlements of mainline construction experience. -Contract preparation experience -Successful completion of at least 1 approved IRWA courses or other comparable courses -Law degree or an SR/WA designation a plus -Strong computer skills with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications in a Microsoft Windows environment -General knowledge of Midstream's business strategies
Education Level: Bachelor's Level Degree
