Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the safe operation, inspection, maintenance of natural gas processing plant equipment and instrumentation at the Ignacio facility near Durango, Colorado. The facility treats and processes natural gas for various customers in the San Juan Basin and takes pride in reliable customer service.
Individual is responsible for assigned projects and duties as required, including but not limited to: Rotating Equipment Maintenance and Repair Exchanger Maintenance and Repair Vessel and Piping Maintenance and Repair Fired Equipment Maintenance and Repair Facility Outside Operations Job Planning and SIP Form Completion

Williams Midstream business unit is looking for an Operations Technician in the Four Corners Area (FCA) of New Mexico and Colorado. Depending on the background and experience of the applicant, this position has been posted to consider III and Sr. levels.
Qualifications: Requires excellent verbal and written communications skills. Knowledge of natural gas equipment including: pumps, engines, compressors, and piping systems.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications and possess adequate PC skills. The qualified candidate will have knowledge of and be willing to learn and develop in the Personnel Development Program. Good driving record and ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted required. Position requires extensive driving in off-road conditions. Must be available to work overtime during nights, weekends and holidays, and have the ability to work under limited supervision.
This position will be filled at a level commensurate with the skills, experience and qualifications of the candidate. The successful candidate will have one year to demonstrate proficiency. If the candidate does not demonstrate proficiency at the hiring level, they will then be lowered to the demonstrated level.
To qualify as an Op/Tech III or higher, the candidate must possess high level operational skills in at least one (2) of the following ten (10) Operational Functions:
1.) Pipeline Operations and Maintenance 2.) Measurement and EFM 3.) Instrumentation and Electronics 4.) Plant and Station Operations 5.) Rotating Equipment Maintenance 6.) Education Level: High School Graduate or Equivalent
Relocation Information: Williams Corporation will pay relocation costs for this position.
