Responsibilities:
The Project Manager overseas engineering and construction projects  to design, contract, install and start up Midstream Canada natural gas or liquids related facilities and/or assets that increase Economic Value Added and optimize the value of the business consistent with Midstream Canada strategy.  The project manager leads and manages the entire project team to safely complete the project and ensure all functional design and quality requirements are met or exceeded, the project schedule is maintained and completed on time and within the corporate approved budget for the project.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct projects and coordinate key functions with internal and external technical resources under the guidance of Williams' Project Life Cycle and System Integrity Plan to meet all project requirements for  safety, budget, schedule, functionality and quality; meeting or exceeding Company and Industry standards and expectations.
- Develop a project organization structure and ensure adequate and competent staffing and technical expertise throughout the project life cycle in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement definitive project plans which include risk assessed cost estimates, engineering design, contracting strategies, fabrication and construction, quality assurance, pre-commissioning and commissioning, and project closure to complete projects safely, on time, on budget and with satisfactory quality and functionality.
- Creative development of pipeline and related facilities optimized designs utilizing the most recent industry engineering and design techniques and implementation strategies to meet Midstream Canada objectives and create a competitive advantage.
- Understand the economic drivers of transactions being developed and incorporate them into optimized facility designs that maximize EVA over the life of the asset.
- Present recommendations and solutions supported by sound engineering and operational efficiency and effectiveness that support Midstream reliability targets and reduce risks inherent in the project.
- Set up and lead project meetings and communications in an adequate and continuing timely manner for all internal and external stakeholders, contractors and vendors, regulatory and governmental agencies and any other interested or affected parties as required.


Qualifications:
Education & Certification:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Science or Technology.
- Professional Engineer
- Project Management Certification

Experience:
- Ten (10) years experience in project management of engineering, construction, & commissioning of natural gas facilities
- Five (5) years experience planning natural gas related facilities in design, cost estimating and contract strategies.

Education Level: Bachelor's Level Degree

Relocation Information: Williams Corporation will not pay relocation costs for this position.

Travel Percentage: Less than 25 %

Fair Labor Standards Act: FLSA nonexempt overtime pay is due.
