Responsibilities: Provide coordination and direction for the Appalachia Asset Team with regard to the full-cycle well and well-site permitting process. This spectrum includes, but is not limited to, securing Applications for Permit to Drill (APD), General Permits, securing various county and township-level permits, compliance with regulations pertaining to wells and surface facilities, and completing post-drilling reports and notices.
Coordinate and ensure the timely submittal of State applications to construct, drill, and complete as well as applications for re-completion and remedial well work. Preparation and submittal of necessary Sundry Notices, before and after the APD process. A) Notice of Spud, B) Notice of First Sales C) Notice of Staking where applicable, etc. Coordinate preparation of and submittal of State Completion Reports. Submission of PNDIs for Threatened and Endangered species clearance. Assist with acquisition of water sourcing for drilling and fracing. Ensure proper roadway bonding and permitting through townships and PennDOT. Ensure proper Cultural Resource and Historical Clearance Weekly maintenance and update of permit inventory and requirements spreadsheet. Monitor daily drilling reports for well spuds, completion, and production activity. Prepare and assist with various County-level land use permits, including but not limited to, Special Use Permits and Building Permits. Lead and direct efforts of consultants and contractors to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of the aforementioned documents.
Qualifications: Five to ten years oil and gas industry experience with emphasis on regulatory/permitting Strong organizational skills Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to prioritize and focus on multiple projects simultaneously Team player able to successfully work with Federal, State, County, and Township agencies as well as internal professional staff. Basic knowledge of Land, Drilling and Completion operations. Basic knowledge of surveying. General knowledge of environmental and land use regulations in Appalachian region (Pennsylvania, West Virginia, etc.)
Education Level: Two Year College Degree
Relocation Information: Williams Corporation will not pay relocation costs for this position.
Travel Percentage: Less than 25 %
