Responsibilities: Successful candidate will support Audit Services' mission to assess and enhance internal control throughout Williams. This position will join a team whose task is to collaborate with management using COSO tools to identify and assess risks and controls in key processes across the company. Particular emphasis will be placed on identifying and assessing risks to business objectives. Your role on projects will vary from project leader to participating team member. The scope of projects will range across operational, technical and financial groups and you will be expected to interact with all levels of the organization. Specific competencies include: leadership, drive for results, project management, customer/stakeholder focus, self-direction, written and verbal communication skills, risk based auditing, and control analysis and assessment.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will posses five to ten years experience performing independent, objective, and / or consulting activities in accordance with the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Experience with COSO tools and CIA certification is a plus. Must be a self-starter, confident and a customer focused professional. This position will be filled commensurate with experience and requires a bachelor's degree.
