Responsibilities:
The Senior Reliability Engineer will provide subject matter expertise supporting Midstream safety, compliance, reliability, availability and efficiency goals, working with and across the organization, identifying, developing and implementing Metrics, Processes, Procedures and Standards for the purpose of ensuring  we specify, install, commission, operate and maintain our rotating equipment for sustained safety, improved reliability, optimal equipment performance and continued environmental compliance.  On an as needed basis, this role will support rotating equipment Tier II Subject Matter Experts (SME's), provide training to rotating equipment Tier II SME's, identify training opportunities for rotating equipment Tier II SME's and participate in rotating equipment Root Cause Analysis.

This position reports to the Equipment Reliability Manager.

Key Activities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:
-Support Midstream's Baseline Maintenance program ensuring that rotating equipment maintenance tasks are appropriate and timely such that system reliability is maintained and improved.  Perform quality assurance on proposed Baseline Maintenance (BLM) reliability procedures to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and specifications.  
-Support Midstream's Asset Management System development, participating in the Maintenance Strategy Team to identify criticality of assets, equipment types, failure hierarchy modes and ties to BLM procedures.   This position will also be a supportive participant in the Inventory/Item Master Team and Reports Requirement Team to ensure parts inventories and reporting supports Midstream reliability improvement efforts.  This position will then provide ongoing reliability expertise and support to the Maintenance Process Team consisting of the Maintenance Process Owner  and Local Process Owners.
-Develop, review and evaluate reliability metrics for trends, deviations or indications that improvement actions are required and initiate response and change to negative trends.  This position is required to effectively interface with leaders and the maintenance process teams to cause reliability improvements
-Sustain and improve the data mining program, the process of acquiring and evaluating equipment operational data for trends and indicators of poor performance and other mechanical/operational problems for the purpose of ensuring optimum performance and preventing equipment failures.  Sustain and improve analysis and reporting to expand use and visibility.  This position is required to identify and implement data mining process improvements to achieve more effective results with less hands-on effort at the field level.  This position will be responsible for effectively communicating data mining goals, actions and results to first level and mid level management personnel to build commitment and support for the data mining program.


Qualifications:
-BS in engineering required; advanced technical degree preferred  
-PE or advanced certification in specialized engineering or scientific field preferred.
-2 years as Engineer II working in a reliability engineer role and working knowledge in two of the following areas: Operations, Design, Business Development, Construction, or Environmental (minimum 4 years of experience). 

Engineering experience outside of Williams will be considered.

-Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional certification with 2 years of practical application preferred
-Certified Plant Maintenance Manager certification with 2 years practical application preferred
-Root Cause Analysis certificated course completion with 4 years practical application preferred

This position will be filled at the posted level and within the salary range if commensurate to the experience (i.e., skills, knowledge, & abilities) of successful candidate; however if unable to be filled at this level, the position may be filled with a respective competitive market based on the experience of the selected candidate.


Education Level: Bachelor's Level Degree

Relocation Information: Williams Corporation will pay relocation costs for this position.

Travel Percentage: 26 - 50 %

Fair Labor Standards Act: FLSA exempt no overtime pay is due.
