Responsibilities: Responsible for but not limited to the following: Receiving requests from field personnel for tangible goods (Capital and LOE) via e-mail, spreadsheets, Oracle requisitions, verbally, etc. In turn they will source the material goods with qualified suppliers, negotiate prices where applicable and place orders. They will also be responsible for expediting the orders after they are placed and coordinate with field personnel, the Supplier, Receiving and Accounting Department on discrepancies.
Work with the Engineering, Drilling and Production Departments to identify needs, forecast material requirements and establish project material needs as required. They will also prepare Request for Quotations and solicit bids for major pieces of equipment and large project material needs as dictated by Procurement Policy and Procedures.
Responsible for the support in managing Williams' inventory including the identification of new materials that require item numbers, establishing proper inventory levels, and maintaining proper inventory balance based on usage and lead-time. They will perform material transfers in Oracle both to and from projects and expense jobs to inventory.
Responsible for working with Williams' personnel, manufacturers and suppliers in identifying new products and technology for well drilling, development and production.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree is required - a degree in Purchasing &/or Procurement is preferred Minimum of 3 years sourcing/procurement experience
Position requires strong organizational skills, good oral and written communication skills, ability to prioritize and focus on multiple projects simultaneously, with strong computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Oracle. Strong math skills required. This person must be a Team Player able to successfully work with internal staff and vendors. Must be a self starter and able to work with little supervision.
Knowledge of exploration and drilling operations, and production facilities is a definite plus.

Relocation Information: Williams Corporation will not pay relocation costs for this position.
