Responsibilities:
Individual would be responsible for receiving, storage, tracking and issue of all items in inventory.  This position would entail generating purchase orders, bidding on equipment, services, and materials in coordination with superintendents/supervisors, fleet vehicle management, and inventory control.  Selects reliable sources, approves purchase orders and controls prices and quality.  Maintains contact with suppliers for information on factors affecting prices, availability and delivery of products.  Locates potential supply sources, developing and maintaining favorable relations to secure maximum service.  Negotiates purchase contracts and develops schedules for delivery of goods.  Coordinates with other company functions in the development of new equipment, product specs, and the need for substitute materials.  Coordinates with company Drilling/Completion Consultants 24/7, the shipment of all tubular goods to rigs.  Includes the hiring of trucking and hot shot services to perform deliveries without delays to drilling, completion, and facilities schedules.  Process invoices and material transfers in a timely manner to keep vendors and inventory reconciled.  Reconciles all work order files within (90) ninety days after completion of project. 

This position may also be responsible for service contracts, including Master Service Agreements and Requests for Services per company policies. 

This position may also be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely coding of invoices and records management with systems such as Oracle, Markview, Spendworks, and Sharepoint.


Qualifications:
Position Requirements:
(1) Demonstrated experience in procurement activities including sourcing, negotiating agreements, and inventory management.
(2) Demonstrated supervisory skills and experience a plus.
(3) Demonstrated ability and experience in communicating with contractors and suppliers.
(4) Demonstrated ability to coordinate and plan short and long-term work tasks to meet spud, first sales, production, LOE, and capital goals.  Communicates and reports key activities with direct supervisor and team members. 
(5)  Ensures appropriate documentation, tracking, and retention of all contracts and project-related documents.
(6) Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of oil and gas accounting practices.
(7) Work to continuously improve asset operations, including new technologies and systems, aggressive bidding tactics, cost evaluations, and cost-cutting measures.
(8)  Provide as-needed administrative and technical assistance to Regulatory, Drilling, Engineering, Production, Land, EHS, and Accounting functional groups, including operational and cost reporting.
(9) Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle multiple tasks with changing and conflicting responsibilities and accountabilities.  Must be self-motivated and an enthusiastic team player capable of completing tasks in a fast-paced, group environment.
(10) Knowledge of exploration and drilling operations, and production facilities is a definite plus.

Qualifications:
(1) Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
(2) Ability to manage multiple tasks
(3) Superior organizational skills
(4) Experience with oil/gas field operations a plus
(5) Office software knowledge including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
   (6) Knowledge of Oracle ERP a plus

Education:
(1)10 years or greater of office management and/or procurement experience
(2) H.S. Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or B.S. in applicable field preferred


Education Level: High School Graduate or Equivalent

Relocation Information: Williams Corporation will not pay relocation costs for this position.

Travel Percentage: Less than 25 %

Fair Labor Standards Act: FLSA exempt no overtime pay is due.
