Responsibilities: Reports to Production Engineering Manager. Management of water produced in the Piceance Basin: produced water, flow-back water, fresh water. Predict short-med-long term future water production and use trends based on historical data and development plans by field and basin wide. Support Completions, Production, Fracking, Drilling and Planning for projects to enhance efficiency and reduce the overall cost of water management and movement of water across the Basin while meeting the needs, improving efficiencies of, and reducing overall costs for all operations. Technical duties include preparing engineering cost estimates, job scope specifications, project schedules and schematic diagrams; engineering design calculations; equipment specifications; performing water process and pipeline simulations. Support operations and water management process optimization, hazard analysis using E&P Way to include a robust preventive maintenance / mechanical program following E&P Way requirements. Coordinate documentation for State, County or Federal permits and insure that all facilities operate in accordance with all permits, rules, regulations and Company policies. Work with Legal, Management and Operations to utilize, maintain and increase fresh water rights. Represent operations on SEO and other rulemaking processes around water rights and uses.
Qualifications: BS Degree in Engineering and experience with oil and gas operations Proactive in Environmental, Safety, and Health standards and practices Minimum 15 years engineering experience in mechanical/hydraulic/electrical systems design, construction and operation Project Management experience with oil, gas and water pipeline, pumping, separation and treatment facilities Demonstrated history of ability to prioritize activities, strong organizational and scheduling skills Experience with Engineering requirements for facility permits with COGCC, CDPHE and Counties
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Civil Engineering skills Experience with pipeline and pump systems CAD/GIS and Visio skills
