Responsibilities: Staff Reservoir Engineer to be part of a multi-disciplinary team engaged in the continued development of existing assets as well as growth through property acquisitions in the Piceance Basin. This individual will be responsible for:
Reserve estimates for existing properties and their continued development Evaluation of the acquisition candidates that fall within the asset team area of responsibility Preparation of the annual plan including the capital budget Preparation of the year-end Reserve Report Work with field production department on well performance and optimization Analysis of reservoir performance to identify workover candidates Direct various interdisciplinary team studies
This position will be filled at a level and within a salary range commensurate to the experience (i.e., skills, knowledge and abilities) of the successful candidate.
Qualifications: Candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication as well as strong interpersonal skills to handle multiple tasks with changing and conflicting responsibilities and accountabilities. Must be self-motivated, solutions oriented, and an enthusiastic team player capable of managing and completing tasks in a group environment.
10+ years of reservoir engineering experience, at least 4 years being in unconventional reservoirs (tight gas sands or shales) Bachelors degree in engineering Demonstrated experience with Aries Strong Microsoft Applications skills
Education Level: Bachelor's Level Degree
Relocation Information: Williams Corporation will not pay relocation costs for this position.
Travel Percentage: Less than 25 %
