Responsibilities:
Accountabilities for this role include:

- Lead, motivate and develop a team of Assurance, Assessment and Improvement Specialists
- Establish, implement and continuously improve the assurance process to monitor the level of execution of Midstreams OPG standards. 
- Implement an effective audit and assessment plan, including developing the audit / assessment schedule based upon organizational needs and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identify and communicate organizational risks and trends based upon audit and assessment findings; make local and Midstream recommendations commensurate with the level of risk or applicability. 
- Present organizational learnings and recommendations to the OPG leadership team as well as the Midstream Leadership Team.
- Approve and maintain effective assessment protocols.
- Optimize metric reporting for the organization, reducing data touch points, to measure and improve the overall health of the organization for the SIP and other OPG standards. 
- Facilitate organizational learning opportunities through MSLive, SIP, and Communities of Practice. 
- Lead and manage Management System audits for the Midstream organization.
- Connect top performing units with lower performing units based upon assessment findings to enhance organizational performance. 
- Manage non-routine internal audits / assessments in response to management concerns or internally or externally discovered non-compliance issues.
-Engage and manage third party consultants to conduct audits / assessments and/or complete other assessment activities as the need arises.
- Act as an internal Midstream Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Midstreams SIP requirements.
- Monitor regulatory and/or industry physical risk consensus standards activities and other appropriate sources and, where applicable, identify or develop MS positions on such activities.


Job Responsibilities include:

- Develop, maintain and continuously improve the Midstream assurance process to monitor the level of execution of Midstreams OPG standards and continue to grow a culture of operational excellence built upon safety and reliability.   
- Coach, support and develop a team of Assurance Specialists that will provide efficient and effective support to Midstream. 
- Influence, coach, mentor and support Midstream organizations and groups in the adoption and use of Corporate and Midstream processes and standards intended to assist MS asset teams, departments and groups meet or exceed defined goals and objectives.
- Manage resources to effectively and efficiently meet Midstreams assurance needs.
- Prepare, monitor and forecast annual department budgets, including planning for future resource needs.


Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required with disciplines in Business, Engineering, Industrial Safety, EHS or other technical discipline from accredited college or university preferred.

- 8-10 years experience in the energy industry, predominantly with a broad emphasis on natural gas gathering and processing.   

- Experience in the EHS functional areas as well as exposure to other Operations or business-related functions desired.

- Demonstrated leadership ability to build relationships with other company leaders, peers and industry colleagues. 

- General, broad level of knowledge concerning industry codes, standards, and practices as well as legal and regulatory requirements is required.

- Broad general knowledge of Williams financial procedures and practices, economic evaluation, organizational strategies and personnel management practices is required.

- General knowledge regarding Midstream business strategies, financial objectives and commercial goals to allow effective interaction with asset management executives and managers for the commercial, business development and operations functions is desired.

- Demonstrated experience in process and/or quality management a plus.

Education Level: Bachelor's Level Degree

Relocation Information: Williams Corporation will pay relocation costs for this position.

Travel Percentage: Less than 25 %

Fair Labor Standards Act: FLSA exempt no overtime pay is due.
