Job Location: Moon Township, PA Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities: The Turbine Compression Equipment Specialist provides subject matter expertise for centrifugal compressors, industrial gas turbines, turbine controls for proper operation, maintenance and optimal equipment performance, environmental compliance, troubleshooting, repair & improvement/maintenance planning. This role also provides input into equipment selections and training mechanics including procedure writing.
-On an individual basis works with Technicians and outside contractors to establish safe and optimal work tasks and processes in compression. -Acting as support on an individual basis works with Technicians, mechanics and outside contractors in compression to establish job and work plans that promote safe and optimal completion of jobs. -Develop and maintain compression operational modeling tools that assist in daily optimization of system while planning for future state. -Maintain in-depth understanding of rotating equipment including pumps, centrifugal compressors, turbines and turbine controls. -Apply problem solving techniques to identify and correct equipment problems or inefficiencies. -Oversee instillation/commissioning/start up of new turbine equipment. -Develop and implement operating procedures for new equipment prior to initial start up. -Gather and analyze unit performance and past history data; develop recommendations for improving performance. -Develop budgets for supported areas based on recommendations. -Research environmental permit requirements and equipment specifications and determine compliance. -Identify training needs and provide and/or coordinate external/internal training to address needs.
Experience: -5+ years of experience in compression operations and maintenance with experience in both reciprocating and centrifugal compression preferred. -Preferred experience with Solar Turbines. -Experience with pumps, centrifugal compressors, industrial gas turbines, and turbine controls. -Experience with reciprocating compressors and pumps. -Experience with instillation/commissioning/start-up of new equipment

Relocation Information: Williams Corporation will pay relocation costs for this position.
