Your chamber has partnered with our company, NationJob, to create a comprehensive Internet recruitment solution that combines local, regional, and national reach. This workforce development initiative - known as the Community Sponsorship Program - is a proven way to expand recruitment reach and cut recruitment costs.
2. How does it work?
First, you sign up for the program at a discounted rate for chamber members. (Pricing is based on the number of employees your company has).
Submit your job listings in whichever way is easiest for you - via fax, mail, e-mail, or pulled from an existing Web site.
NationJob then uses a national network of sites and services - including the local Web site for your community--to promote your detailed job listings throughout the Internet. Job seekers read your information and respond directly to you.

- by using our web-based Job Listing Form and Company Profile Form. (Recommended for small numbers of job listings only!)
Job Listings
Each job listing may be as detailed as you like (there is no length limit), and may include a hypertext link to your home page. You have the flexibility of specifying a deletion date for your jobs (i.e. 30 days, 90 days, six months, etc.) or they will be automatically deleted after four months.
You may submit job listings in whatever format is the most convenient for you (see above). Most of our customers e-mail or fax us. We update daily, and try to get each new listing on-line within two working days. We will be glad to work directly with your staff on any number of time-saving procedures including:
- Developing one or more standard templates to use when entering your jobs (for example, you may wish to list the same benefits, and how to apply information, and then just send us the "meat" of the description each week).
- Archiving all of your job descriptions (current and past) so you need only send a vacancy list each week along with any new job descriptions.
- If you have a large number of openings to keep track of, we can fax or e-mail you a list of all of the job openings you have on the system at the beginning of each week. Just mark which listings you would like deleted, and fax or e-mail it back to us with any new jobs to be added that week. Just request this Reminder service if you think it will be valuable to you, and we'll be happy to provide it at no charge.
Company Profile
Company profiles can be as detailed as you want, and may include information about your organization like products and services, history, mission, benefits, work environment - whatever information you wish to share with potential employees. You have three choices in submitting a company profile:
- Send us an existing profile.
- Write a new profile for the system, using (if you like) our company profile form as a guide.
- Have our staff write the profile for you. Just send us whatever existing materials you have - annual reports, marketing literature, brochures, press releases, etc. - and we'll put together a draft profile for your review and approval. This timesaving service is free.
- If you have a home page on the Internet, please include the URL, and we will include a hypertext link in the profile. There is no charge for adding links.
