Operating as a regional airline in the United States, Air Wisconsin Airlines performs flying services as a partner with United Airlines. Currently operating a fleet of CRJ-200 regional jets as United Express, Air Wisconsin Airlines operates throughout the Eastern and Central United States. Air Wisconsin`s team is dedicated to making our travelers experiences safe and pleasant.

The Benefits and Risk Analyst is responsible for data analysis of the Benefits and Risk Management department, supporting team projects and the administration of the Company retirement plans.

Essential Job Functions
  • Prepare various cost/benefit analysis to support the decision making process for the employee benefit and insurance areas of the company. *
  • Prepares and maintains reports to measure and monitor various metrics for the employee benefit and insurance areas of the company. *
  • Work with team members to automate and streamline reporting. *
  • Assist the Financial Planning team by providing timely budgets, variance analysis and forecasts of employee benefit and insurance. *
  • Leads the team with maintenance and testing of existing functions of benefit elections and sessions within the HRIS and the file layout of eligibility files to vendors. *
  • Administers 401(k) retirement plan benefits to include: generating and preparation of employer contribution reports and employee salary deferral contributions. *
  • Acts as primary contact to employees for 401(k) questions. *
  • Coordinates any federal regulated or random audits pertaining to all Air Wisconsin 401(k) retirement plans. *
  • Provides support as needed with the disability leave of absence area such as coordinating leaves with employees, supervisors/managers and outside vendors. *
  • Coordinates the tracking and monitoring of employee usage of FMLA and disability benefits as applicable. *
  • Coordinates any accommodation and fitness for duty reviews. *
  • Supports the Loss Prevention Manager on the coordination of the return to work programs. *
  • Provides assistance with the Company business continuity planning. *
  • Performs assigned tasks associated with the annual open enrollment period. *
  • Cross train to support roles in the benefits and risk management department. *
  • Other duties as assigned. *
  • Attendance is considered an essential responsibility. *
  • Adherence to all Company policies and procedures. *

Education/Experience
  • Bachelors degree with an emphasis in the area of Human Resources or Financial Management or 2-3 years related experience required
  • Prefer three years experience in a union environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet and HRIS
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
