Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. is recruiting for a Commercial Project Manager in our Commercial Projects & Services Group. You will be responsible to successfully manage a portfolio of large-scale commercial lighting/shade projects from pre-bid design support and estimation through to project execution and end user turnover. A successful Commercial Project Manager will work closely with sales, reps, dealers/distributors, and contractors to understand and communicate project details. You will also coordinate internally with operations, manufacturing, engineering, applications, and the database team to ensure successful job completion.
Responsibilities:
- Actively manage a large portfolio of commercial projects to ensure customer expectations are met, while also maintaining Lutron profitability and quality measures
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with our channel partners
- Coordinate resources for timely execution and delivery of project documentation, submittals, on-site and virtual project meetings, startup/programming, training delivery and ongoing support
- Manage change orders, impacts to project schedule and finances
- Coordinate the accurate and on-time delivery of Lutron products
- Communicate with all external project stakeholders (specifiers, reps, distributors, contractors, end users, and others as appropriate)
- Report and escalate any challenges to Lutron management for timely resolution
- Represent Lutron at mid and high-level construction project meetings

Qualifications:

- Construction Industry related work experience (Project Management, Estimating, Coordination, Design, etc.)
- Degree or Equivalent experience (Engineering, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Architectural, Construction Management)
