- Work environment: Oncology Department(35 bed) . Patients are admitted to this floor for multiple diseases such as Leukemia, Sepsis, Lymphoma, Melanoma, Breast, Kidney/Pancreatic Cancers, pain management and med/surg overflow
- Work hours: Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, Day/Night Shift Available
- Salary range: $26.50 - $50.82 per hour (based on relevant experience)
- $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible RN's (eligible upon hire with a signed retention agreement)
Texas Health Fort Worth is a 726-bed full-service facility that includes cardiovascular care, high risk obstetrics, gynecology, neurosciences, orthopedic sports medicine and emergency medicine. The hospital is Magnet-designated, Accredited Cycle III Chest Pain Center and Emergency Center of Excellence and A Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Qualifications - Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred
- CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required)
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
- Current BLS (required) expiration date greater than 3 months preferred.
- CPI training within 60 days of hire (required)
- One (1) year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program (required)
- 2+ years of inpatient oncology RN experience and charge/preceptor skills (preferred)
- CMSRN (preferred)
- Successful completion of the ONS - Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certificate within 15 months of hire required
- OCN - Oncology Certified Nurse within 2 years of hire preferred
In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will - Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

- possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism
- have basic computer skills using Medical management application systems
