JOB DESCRIPTION:
Interstate All Battery is seeking an energetic, responsible Warehouse Associate to join our growing organization. The Warehouse Associate handles and loads/unloads batteries onto trucks, receives incoming materials for distribution, and provides the necessary documentation for shipping and receiving. Daily cleaning, charging and handling of batteries with repetitive lifting of 35-50 pounds product. The right candidate must recognize the flow of incoming and outgoing materials necessary to meet productivity goals and ensure the stable flow of materials in the supply chain.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Stocks items needed to keep production running smoothly
-Receives deliveries and stock and verifies accuracy of the delivery against invoice
-Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
-Follows all safety policies and procedures
-Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
-Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
-Must be at least 18 years old
-High school diploma or GED preferred
-One year of relevant experience preferred
-Forklift license (or willing to obtain license)
-Highly professional and dependable
-Able to follow spoken and written instructions
-Basic computer and internet skills
-Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
-Must have a current, valid driver’s license in this state of Kansas
