Product Manager, Digital, Sandy, Utah

Position Summary

Were looking for a Digital Product Manager who knows how to build and deliver an excellent mobile application experience. Part creative, part analytical, our ideal candidate brings a data driven approach to create a customer-facing roadmap and applications. In other words, from definition to final development, our Digital Product Manager drives our mobile products.

You will own our mobile application ecosystem, so a willingness to learn new technology and a passion for using applications to drive business is critical. Well rely on you to collaborate across departments, bring new concepts to the table, and help us build products that drive business. As you help us plan effective digital business campaign, you will become the point of contact for sales, marketing, and IT as we create and update content across our mobile apps.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Own product strategy, roadmap, and product backlog

Ensure cross-functional alignment with mobile-first strategy

Work with internal committee and external field salesforce to gather business processes and project requirements

Conduct market research to analyze existing product and perform gap analysis for opportunities to innovate and improve; Keep up with industry trends

Prioritize product development and feature enhancements

Serve as voice of the customer for assigned scrum IT teams

Quality management: Validate final deliverables match initial specifications

Provide product training to bigger groups and organize workshops as needed

Learn, Build, Track, and Measure by defining KPIs

Manage and facilitate processes against an overall sales and marketing plan

Provide quarterly and monthly business reviews including contributing to our forward-looking strategic planning goal

Determine communication strategy for mobile launches or updates (pre-launch, launch, quarterly post launch, annual postmortem, and on-going support)

Monitor mobile analytics and provide recommendations to improve adoption, stickiness and conversions

Assist in copywriting for brand related mobile app pages and online forums

Perform presentations internally and at sales meetings (as needed)

Create policies and procedures or SOPs as needed

Comfortable multi-tasking and able to prioritize amongst many competing activities

Analyze the ROI of initiatives

Spearhead RPFs as needed for outside agencies/vendors

Help executing the organizational and department digital goals

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

Bachelors degree required in business, arts, computer science or related field, post graduate degree preferred

3-5 years of experience in mobile product management

Demonstrated experience and proficiency in delivering mobile and responsive web apps with an eye for UX

Strategic thinker, strong effective leader, and ability to tactically execute

Strong analytic and strategic reasoning skills, particularly as they relate to leveraging consumer insights through syndicated data mining and feedback from the field

Solid experience in organizing and leading A/B testing

Understanding of the app store ecosystem and mobile application industry dynamics

Solid business acumen, able to develop plans and budgets, and then operate within those guidelines

Outstanding in executing against sales and marketing strategies

Adept in working with a broad range of departments and in a global and matrix organization

Strong constructive leadership, people management, negotiation, and collaborative skills a must.

Experience in working in international markets and/or roles

Highly effective and productive; ability to multi-task under a fast-paced environment
