As a Human Resources Generalist, you will provide human resources support, including personnel recruitment and employee relations to the non-unionized and non-exempt field maintenance team, as well as to the professional sales teams organized under the Field Services division. These business units are located across North America to be near clients. You are responsible for hourly and salaried employment administration, continual recruitment, onboarding, training, and workforce orientation. The HRG must be well versed in employment law and the EEOC, experienced in employee relations and engagement, able to support strategic performance management, and conduct internal investigations. Experience with HR Business Partner support of commissioned sales teams is a plus. A gold star if you have experience dealing with commissioned compensation plans in an advisory capacity to the General Managers. With an existing shared-services structure, the administration and oversight of all health, welfare, benefits, and retirement plans, as well as payroll processing and environmental health and safety, are managed by other company designated individuals. The HRG will act as a resource for these colleagues to ensure they are able to perform these functions efficiently within your business units. Successful candidates for the HR Generalist role in this complex and far-flung manufacturing environment will be able to act as a liaison between employees and managers, and effectively handle questions and concerns regarding company policies, practices, and regulations. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in human resources, business management, or related field Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a dynamic environment. Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to strict confidentiality policies and procedures. Proven ability to interact with and influence senior leaders. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented. Ability to travel up to 15% of the time. Competency in computer software and skills, including Microsoft Office and G-Suite.
