This includes screening, assessment, and interpretation of relevant data to determine the nutritional status of patients. Based upon this information, the clinical dietitian provides appropriate recommendations for the nutritional care and education of the patient.This position has exposure to extremes in noise and temperature, cleaning chemicals and equipment as normally related to food service production areas. This position requires extensive standing and walking (up to 60% of work Time.) LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) (or registry eligible); Arkansas State Licensure SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL AND SKILL COMPETENCIES
Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy at a level normally acquired through completion of a bachelors degree in dietetics and completion of a dietetic internship from an ACEND accredited institution. Approximately one year of clinical experience is necessary in order to gain knowledge regarding medical nutrition therapy.
