Job Details:

Data Scientist (ACE American Insurance Company (Chubb)) (Jersey City, NJ): Designing and building advanced data solutions for large data sets and the support of underwriting and marketing functions within the Chubb organization; Using industry best practices to deliver high-quality analytics and visualizations; Exploring new ways of producing, processing, and analyzing data at scale, as well as prototyping and testing software that supports these methodologies; Providing architectural support for data structures by building proofs of concept and prototypes and applying feedback to improve functionality; Facilitating data integration process through data profiling, understanding relationships and patterns within the data, and successfully validating the integrity of the data; Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and problems and implementing data analytics and engineering processes as solutions; and Monitor performance of models and report findings to leadership. 

Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Experience with SQL, Python or R, Machine Learning and AI, microservices architecture, and Cloud Services such as Databricks; Comprehensive knowledge of SQL; Experience with data analysis and management, including database management and data extraction; Ability to build data pipelines, models, visualizations and analytic solutions; Experience developing and implementing machine learning and statistical models; and Ability to write and maintain custom classes. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics or related quantitative field, and three years of experience in Data Science or related occupation. Hybrid option to work from home may be available - 2 days remote per week. Salary: $111,966.00 - $138,000.00/year.
