Job Details:

Braskem America, Inc. seeks a Continuous Improvement Senior Engineer I in Pasadena, Texas. Responsible to: Consolidate Continuous Improvement in Braskem America; Disseminate and strengthen the culture of Good Practices Sharing (GPS) in Braskem America; Manage the Continuous Improvement process at the plant and in the offices, in accordance with the Business Guidelines (Intelius); Support the areas in mapping improvement opportunities and strongly contribute to the competitiveness of the business; Coordinate the training program for members in problem-solving methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S's, FMEA, Scrum, Design Thinking, DFSS, etc.) to develop project leaders and generate OPEX savings; Provide training for project leaders and team member according to the methodologies required; Supervise OPEX strategic projects; Carry out the final evaluation of the projects implemented in other countries to guarantee the GPS process; 5% Domestic travel. 

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related (foreign equivalent acceptable), and 60 months of experience in job offered or related, including Experience in: Project leadership; Conducting training; Conducting CI Flow steps; Building a Hard Saving capture memorial; Building a GHG capture memorial (C-Tool). Knowledge in the following required: Lean Manufacturing, Design Thinking, Scrum methodology, Six Sigma, PDCA and GPS (good practice share).
