Job Details:

Braskem America, Inc. seeks a Process Engineer III in La Porte, Texas.

Responsible to:

Monitor and analyze plant performance indicators and develop systems that drive improvements and sustain value in the areas of health, safety, environment, production rates, reliability, cost, and quality; Implement all Technology Improvements and participate in Technical Exchange Meetings (Internal and External); Develop FEL 1 and 2 for Investment Projects and support the remaining gates (FEL3, PDP) Use of Lead Black belt projects; and mentorship/training the junior Process Engineers.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field (foreign equivalent acceptable), and 60 months experience in job offered or related, including experience: Spheripol polypropylene technology; Statistical tools for 6Sigma projects, such as JMP and Minitab; Performing deep process data analysis and investigations, and identifying correlations; Performing process simulations using common commercial software, such as Aspen/Hysys; and experience using process data acquisition tools, such as PI Processbook or PI Vision.
