Job Details:

Software Engineer for Equifax Inc. in Alpharetta, GA, to lead the design, development, maintenance and deployment of custom solutions on the Salesforce platform, with a strong focus on managed package creation, Lightning components, Apex, Visualforce and Salesforce APIs by ensuring compliance with Salesforce security and Appexchange standards. Leverage knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes to migrate the existing on-premise application to cloud, managing microservices that interact with the Salesforce, enhancing scalability and deployment efficiency. Proficiency with Heroku including scaling applications, handling data synchronization and managing integrations with Salesforce. Work on the security tools including Fortify and checkmark, to maintain the code quality and mitigate any vulnerabilities. Leverage Salesforce best practices for hosting the managed package on the appexchange and submitting the application for Salesforce security review. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues raised by multiple customers on the Salesforce managed package and also on their custom code. Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards while also writing high quality, maintainable and robust code. Maintain overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance.

Requires:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus six (6) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation in software development or, alternatively, a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation in software development. Specific skills/other requirements -Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Heroku management; Agile development and CI/CD using Maven or Jenkins; Spring Framework technologies (Spring Boot or Hibernate); Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure; Java, Apex, XML, Kubernetes, or Postgres; At least 3 of the following logging and monitoring tools: Splunk, Grafana, GCP Stack driver, Apigee, Dynatrace, or App dynamics. Must possess certifications: Salesforce Platform App Builder and Salesforce Platform Developer I; Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
