Evalve, an Abbott Labs Co., located in Menlo Park, CA seeks qualified Staff Mfg Eng. Design & develop mfg processes, tooling & fixtures to meet daily prod schedules while enhancing productivity & product quality. Bachelors or foreign equiv in Mech Eng, Ind Eng, Mfg Eng or in rltd eng fld of study w/ min. 5 yrs of progressive pro exp in: (i) utilizing tools like Gage R&R, Cp, Cpk & SPC to improve processes; (ii) modeling processes & unit ops by applying knowledge & understanding of mfg concepts like Value Stream mapping, 5S & Visual Workplace to improve quality, labor efficiency & thruput; (iii) CAPA & investigation mgmt; (iv) developing & implementing process improvements; (v) conducting tests & measurements thruout stages of prod to determine ctrl over such variables as temperature, density, pressure & viscosity; & (vi) ensuring processes & procedures follow U.S. FDA regulations, 21 CFR 820, other regulatory requirements incl ISO 13485. An EOE. 40 hrs/wk. $155,750 - $224,000/yr.
