Senior Manager, BioPharma Analytics Lead for Foundation Medicine, Inc. in Boston, Massachusetts leads the development and execution of analyses to deliver timely and actionable insights that drives strategic planning and business operations activities across Foundation Medicine and the BioPharma team; streamlines and visualizes portfolio and pipeline analytics, including analytics of pipeline and portfolio performance, operational and financial KPIs and metrics, and customer experience insights; helps drive activities supporting best-in-class customer experience, leads prioritization, and mobilizes others to optimize FMI’s operational and financial capabilities.

Responsibilities: Leads analytics activities for pipeline and portfolio, financial and market insights, and customer experience insights. Develops and executes advanced analytical and statistical methods to answer a variety of business questions using multiple data sources and tools. Leads the delivery of reporting and dashboarding solutions related to performance management; lead the interaction with end users to gather business requirements and metrics and communicate value of the initiative/dashboard. Champions new innovative analytical solutions to deliver actionable insights; proactively propose innovative analytical solutions to business questions and problems and implement suggested methods. Monitors and assesses the effectiveness of strategic and operational improvement efforts, projects, and practices to identify opportunities to optimize the value of investments across the portfolio. Proactively seeks to understand business needs, priorities, and scope of work to continually refine and enhance our data analytics capabilities. Effectively collaborates and partners with key internal data groups within FMI to achieve results. Understands key business measures and aligns with collaborators across FMI to measure; regularly identifies opportunities for growth and efficiency. Interprets voice-of-customer insights and translate into transformative initiatives improving customer satisfaction. Drives operational excellence and integration of best practices across BioPharma and the broader FMI organization. Facilitates the evolution of business systems and platforms (E.g., Salesforce) to enable analytics. Partner with customer-facing teams to build robust dashboards and interfaces capturing account-level data. Partners to help enable lines of business which requires combination of strong data, analytics, and process implementation.

Position Requires:

Bachelor's Degree (or Foreign Education Equivalent) in Bioinformatics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Manager, BioPharma Analytics Lead (or closely related occupation) performing large-scale healthcare data analysis using data visualization tools (Tableau or PowerBI) and analyzing data from Clinical trial databases (CTMS or EDC); Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Bioinformatics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Manager, BioPharma Analytics Lead (or closely related occupation) performing large-scale healthcare data analysis using data visualization tools (Tableau or PowerBI) and analyzing data from Clinical trial databases (CTMS or EDC). Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) analyzing complex genomic data and providing technical oversight to CDx projects; and leading the development and execution of genomic data analyses to deliver actionable insights that enhance strategic planning and business operation; DE implementing innovative analytical solutions for streamlining and visualizing portfolio and pipeline analytics to optimize operational and financial KPIs using R, Python, SQL, or PowerBI in a healthcare environment; DE effectively communicating technical issues at regulatory meetings to ensure that the interpretation of customer insights aligns with regulatory compliance and enhances customer experience; and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize operational capabilities and improve customer experience. Up to 5% domestic travel required.
