Duties: 

Provide expert, fast, and effective resolution to customers technical issues including technical support ticket resolution using monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Splunk, and ElasticSearch; provide support to developers using APIs and write code, tutorials, and technical articles for the developer community using programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, and Scala database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL; guide customers through design, integration, validation, and deployment of the components purchased and adopted by the customer using Query writing and ETL on MySQL and PostgreSQL relational databases and MongoDB nonrelational database; serve as the primary customer point of contact for product technical support during the entire customer lifecycle using CI/CD technologies: Jenkins, GIT, Gerit and Kubernetes; improve the HERE product portfolio by providing customer insights and requirements for new features using AWS Cloud computing; drive continuous improvement, take ownership to solve technical challenges and implement corrective actions using Big Data technologies Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Sagemaker, scikit-learn, and jupyter notebooks; communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to deliver on customer expectations using Tableau; innovate, break silos, and challenge the status quo in the pursuit of customer success; and work independently with regular engagement and direction from management.

Requirements:               

Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience as a software developer or related position in development, deployment and validation of geospatial applications in the cloud environment or, alternatively, a Master degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience as a software developer or related position in development, deployment and validation of geospatial applications in the cloud environment. Specific skills/other requirements - Experience must include (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Programming Languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, and Scala; Big Data technologies: Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Sagemaker, scikit-learn, and jupyter notebooks; Data visualization tool: Tableau; AWS Cloud computing; Query writing and ETL on MySQL and PostgreSQL relational databases and MongoDB nonrelational database; Database systems: MySQL and PostgreSQL; Monitoring and logging tools: Grafana, Splunk, and ElasticSearch; and CI/CD technologies: Jenkins, GIT, Gerit and Kubernetes.
