Job Details:

LANXESS Corporation seeks a Global Key Account Manager & Sales Manager Coatings & Distribution NA in Pittsburgh, PA to manage the Global Key accounts and an International Account in all regions (NA, LATAM, EMEA, APAC), including sales strategy, contracts, pricing, forecast and global projects and coordinate the activities for those accounts within IPG sales members, in the regions. Remote work available from the Pittsburgh metropolitan area.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business, International Business, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field and three (3) years of experience as a Sales or Marketing Manager or a substantially similar occupation in a chemical industry. Experience must include three (3) years in each of the following: sales to the Paint and Coatings market; working with distribution channels to end markets for the pigment industry; developing customer and market strategy including recommending product pricing, preparing and making market presentations to customers; managing key customer accounts; negotiating product sales contracts with outside accounts; maintaining and growing market share while maintaining margins against low priced competitors; recommending direction and strategy to management pertaining to key accounts to maintain business while implementing price increases; forecasting sales while balancing proper production planning and inventory control; Power BI tools; CRM; iron oxide, chrome oxide, and zinc ferrite pigments; and architectural, industrial, automotive, coil, marina, and aerospace coatings.
