Job Details:

Purem Novi, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer I for a position in St Louis, MO to submit annual capital investments for plant. Approve and sign off all equipment and tooling for the facility. Approve any engineering process related procedures or improvements on production line. Authority to stop production lines if there are quality or durability related risks. New product implementation and capacity studies. Preventative maintenance scheduling for equipment, plant and tooling. Production support and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). Send recommendations to Engineering Manager to update equipment or process improvements. Manage Maintenance, PMs (Preventative Maintenance) and MRO (Maintenance Repair and Operations) inventory. Conduct all activities within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements. Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements. Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and follow all polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality.

Qualified candidates must have at least two (2) years of experience as a Process Technician or a substantially similar position utilizing the following: automotive component manufacturing engineering experience for automotive exhaust systems; robotic programming industrial robots; robotic maintenance; tooling maintenance; PLC Programming; coordinating suppliers; spare part maintenance; production tool set up; IATF (International Automotive Task Force); mechanical maintenance; HSE compliance; SKS Welding; welding standards; process improvement; project launch; implementing engineering changes; developing preventive maintenance program; and scheduling repair, maintenance, and installation of machines and tools.
