Job Details:

St. Jude Medical, an Abbott Labs co., located in Plymouth, MN seeks qualified Sr Software Engineer. Oversee software workstream at scale, serving as key liaison to cross-functional software development team. Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or in a related field of study with at least 5 years of progressive professional software development experience. In the alternative, will accept a Master’s degree with at least 3 years of professional software development experience. Each alternative requirement must possess professional software development experience in: (i) C++, QML, or JavaScript coding languages for Graphical User Interface (GUI) applications and using QT; (ii) implementing language translation logic using QT’s features; (iii) configuring and developing communication and control layers in C code; (iv) verifying and validating system and mitigation risk requirements; (v) debugging and troubleshooting code, performing regression testing, and performing statistical risk analyses of code to improve performance; and (vi) writing and verifying test scripts using IEC 62304 guidelines and reviewing software design documents for software risk sections of code identified by IEC 62304. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. An EOE. 40 hrs/wk. $141,898 - $150,700/year.
