Position/Internship Description PURPOSE:
To gain educational knowledge through assisting the Accounting Department in all areas including special projects in a professional work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other miscellaneous duties to be assigned.
Verification of Customer Purchase Orders.
Process credit card charges and refunds and look into credit card declines.
Investigate any fraudulent orders in conjunction with Sales and Credit departments.
Respond to credit card inquiries.
Process refund check requests.
Follow up on stale refund checks.
Bankruptcy Paperwork
Change of Invoice Address Corrections
Assist in the Collections area of the Accounting with calls and follow up.
Process Customer Credit Applications.

Very flexible as a variety of tasks will need to be done throughout the day.

EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Student currently pursuing a business degree at any of the local colleges.
Excel, Microsoft Word, and Windows proficiency.
